Sand Lizard

Avon Heath is a wonderful wildlife resort on the edge of the New Forest. They had to take out a number of very large pines to restore the original heathland and they commissioned me to make use of a couple of them as carvings to celebrate the creatures that live there. I chose to produce a pair of Sand Lizards as they are unique to that kind of terrain. This is one of them.
